Project Sheet: cc0414-1

Materials

  • 8 ½ x 5 ½ White Card
  • 5 x 3 ¾ Land of Nod (grey polka dots) paper by Studio Calico
  • 3 ½ x 3 ½ Double Dutch (rain drops) paper by American Crafts
  • Friends Hearts (yellow chevron) paper by Echo Park for paper piecing
  • Green Thumb Clear Stamp set by Paper Smooches
  • Puddle Stomping Weather Stamp by Savvy
  • Black & Grey Stamping Markers by Tombow
  • Pumice Stone Distress Ink by Ranger
  • Raindrop rhinestones by Triveni
  • Ink Sponge by Tsukineko
  • Circle Die cut by Lifestlye Crafts
  • Cuttlebug Machine

Directions

  1. Use stamp markers to color on the rubber stamp.  Use the black marker for “puddle stomping” words, and grey for the rest.  Stamp onto piece of raindrop paper.
  2. Use a Cuttlebug machine & die to cut out a circle out of the grey polka dot paper.
  3. Use Pumice Stone ink and a sponge to distress the edges of the grey polka dot paper, as well as in the inside where the circle was punched out.
  4. Adhere raindrop paper to the front of the card, so the saying will be seen through the punched out circle on the grey dots paper.  Use pop dots to adhere grey paper to the card front.
  5. Stamp two rainboots onto scrap of yellow chevron paper.  Cut out.  Position on the front of the card, so they overlap each other.
  6. Apply rhinestone raindrops to the front of the card.
