Directions

1. Spray the cone with spray adhesive and roll on the felt. Be sure the bottom is covered and the tip doesn’t need to be tight. It will be hidden in the Hat.
2. On a Piece of paper, draw a triangle that is 10” long and 5” wide at the base. This will be your pattern for the Hat. Cut 2 triangles out of the green felt for the hat. Hand-stitch the pieces together using the green floss. Towards the top, start to pull on your stitches to gather the hat a bit. Stitch across the “brim” of the hat using the white floss. Cut a heart out of a scrap of ruby felt and stitch it to the hat.
3. Cut a oval out of the tan felt for the face and glue it onto the cone about 5”down from the tip of the Paper Mache Cone
4. Put the hat on, pulling it down to cover a bit of the face and hot glue in place.
5. Cut a 4” x10” piece of White Fur for the beard. Shape as you would like towards the bottom.
6. Glue the beard to the bottom of the face, covering it a bit.
7. Glue on the 3/8” Birch Button for the nose
8. Stitch the Jingle Bell onto the tip of the hat
