Materials

• Desired colors of felt
• Plastic headbands
• Hot glue sticks & gun

Directions

1. Cut 1 inch strips of felt for flowers. (6” long for small roses; 12” for large roses) Fold the 1” in half and begin rolling. As you roll, twist what you have rolled and glue as you go. Keep twisting the strip and wrapping it around the center. When you get to the end, glue the end of felt down over the bottom of flower.

2. Cut 2-3 leaf shapes.

3. Cut a small square and use as a base to arrange the flowers and leaves as you like.

4. Cut 1” strips from a contrasting color. About an 1.5” from the end of the headband, begin wrapping the strips diagonally around the headband, gluing in place as you go. Cut 2 small squares of matching or contrasting felt and cover the ends of the headband.

5. Now glue your flower arrangement onto the headband, just off to one side.
