Directions

  1. Paint the entire canvas with Espresso paint and let it completely dry.
  2. Dab some Vaseline with your finger and apply to the area(s) where you want to keep the Espresso paint when you apply another color of paint over it.
  3. Paint the entire canvas with Avocado and let it dry about 90% (not completely dry).
  4. Start peeling the Avocado paint off the spots you applied Vaseline by rubbing the area(s) with paper towel.
  5. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 using Burnt Orange paint. If you want the under coat paint color to show more, rub the top coat paint off. Stop at your liking.
  6. Trace the Deer Cut Out on to "Harvest Five" paper sheet and cut it out and adhere it to the cut out using Glossy Accents.
  7. Cut the  "Take a Hike" paper to 5-1/2" x 7-1/2". Adhere a 5" x 7" photo to the photo mat positioned slightly to the right and bottom.
  8. Glue the Wood Deer to the top left corner.
  9. Put several layers of foam tape under the photo mat to raise it and place it on the canvas.
  10. Cut a strip of "Take a Hike" paper and glue it slightly under the photo directly onto the canvas using Glossy Accents.
  11. Finish your project by gluing some Wood Chips in the bottom right corner using Glossy Accents.
  12. Display.
