Materials

• One pack “Buttons Galore & More: Button Bonanza” bag (Appx ½ pound bag)
-Will use about 18-40 buttons depending on button size and wrist size
• (Appx 20’’) “Beadalon: Elasticity Stretch Cord,” .8mm (5m spool)
• Superglue

Directions

1. Pick out your buttons, making sure they are all about the same size. Half of the buttons will be on the bottom row, so you may want to separate by color. Use buttons with either two or four holes.
2. String the stretch cord through a button, from bottom to top, with the hole on the left side. This will be your first bottom row button.
3. String on another button, from bottom to top, through the hole on the right side. Then, string it from top to bottom through the hole on the left side. This will be your first top row button. If you are using 4-hole buttons, use two holes diagonal from each other.
4. String the cord through another bottom row button, from top to bottom, through the hole on the right. Then, string it from bottom to top through the left hole.
5. Continue steps 3 and 4 until desired length. After a few are on you will notice how they start to overlap and make a top row and a bottom row.
6. At the end, string the cord through the first button you started with. Both ends of the cord should be facing down through a bottom row button. Tie the ends together and reinforce with a dab of superglue. Trim the excess.
